People In Need has a food pantry contracted with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.  We receive food from Government Commodities the federal government provides some basic commodity foods through the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Also food is received through locally donated products from local food manufacturers and distributors.  The program offers assistance to those who meet the household income guidelines. Applicants are to call the New Castle People In Need office for an appointment.

Please note this program is only offered to Lawrence County Residence and at the New Castle office only.
